Filipe Gama e Silva
Filipe Gama e Silva is the Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director of Mentoring Men, a national not-for-profit providing free, one-to-one peer mentoring for adult men across Australia. Since joining the organisation, he has led a period of major transformation. Building its first Model of Care, strengthening its research and evidence base, and shaping a national movement that’s changing how men connect and seek support. In 2025, Filipe led the landmark Men Do Talk report, which revealed two-thirds of Australian men would accept mentoring if offered. These findings became the foundation for the Meet a Mate campaign and Mentoring Men’s ongoing work to embed mentoring as a core pillar in Australia’s wellbeing, loneliness , suicide prevention and domestic and family violence prevention ecosystem.
